Assessment and Diagnosis

An effective treatment plan begins with an accurate understanding of the problem. Additionally, formal diagnoses may be required by some insurers. Our psychologists have the skills and training to help you better understand the nature of the current difficulties impacting you or your child, and can conduct more in-depth testing if needed.

Treatment

QueensBridge psychologists are trained to address a wide variety of disorders and concerns, with a particular focus on treatment of anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (e.g., OCD, trichotillomania), and trauma related disorders (e.g., posttraumatic stress disorder). We are also pleased to offer child and adolescent therapy services. Additional areas of clinical focus differ between our psychologists, please click on locations to learn more about what our psychologists have to offer.

Virtual Sessions

QueensBridge Psychology Services offers virtual sessions as an alternative to attending appointments in-person. You can access our virtual portal on any internet connected device without downloading software. The program used is HIPA and PIPEDA compliant, meaning that confidentiality is maintained while attending virtual sessions.

You can select whether you want to attend in person or virtually at the time of booking. If your situation changes and you need to change to a virtual session for any reason, simply log back into your client account and modify your upcoming appointment. Your psychologist will be automatically notified of the change.
